Getting Started with Personal U.S. Election Calendar Subscriptions

Looking for U.S. election dates and deadlines to add to your personal calendar on your device or computer or both? We've got you covered!

U.S. Vote Foundation and WebCal.Guru have set up election calendars for U.S. voters - you can now get key election dates and deadlines that you need to know, right onto your personal calendar. U.S. Vote Foundation provides the data that WebCal.Guru uses to develop election calendars for you to use. These calendars are free of charge and ad-free.

Adding election data to your calendar

For Mac, iPhone and Windows users, to add the Presidential primaries and caucuses for all states to your calendar, all you need to do is click Subscribe. Your browser will send the link to your calendar application and it will display the events. If you're using Apple iCloud or Microsoft 365 account, your calendar subscriptions will be automatically synchronized to all your devices using the same account. If you wish, you may hide the calendar from other devices.

Android users, please Add subscription to Google CalendarGoogle Calendar will automatically share calendars between your devices.

Customizing your calendar

Customizing your calendar allows you to see more than just the Presidential primaries and caucuses; such as election deadlines for each state, filtered by domestic or military/overseas voters. To create a customized calendar, please follow these steps:

  1. Create an account at WebCal.Guru
  2. After creating your account, you'll be taken to the My Calendars page. Download the U.S. Election Calendar from there.
  3. If you need to modify your subscription later, just visit your My Calendars page under the Account Menu.

What if an election date changes?

All updates are completely automatic and your calendar is always up-to-date. If you wish to see when your calendar data was last updated, click on any calendar event and scroll to the end of the description to view the date last updated.

How to unsubscribe

If you ever wish to remove the calendar subscription, you can do so easily in your calendar application. Note: the steps for each type of device are slightly different. For detailed instructions, please see how to remove a calendar subscription.
