MAIL-IN ABSENTEE PORTAL: Qualifying voters may receive a ballot by mail through an application process. The application portal opens on Saturday, April 6, 2024, and closes on Tuesday, May 7, 2024. Log onto GoVote.Ky.gov to see if you qualify. OFFICIAL BALLOT DROP BOX: Any voter with a mail-in absentee ballot may either mail their ballot in the envelopes provided them or they may choose to drop their ballot into our Official Ballot Drop Box located in the lobby of the Scott County Courthouse at 101 E Main Street, Georgetown, KY. Voters may utilize the box between the hours of 8:30am and 4:30pm, Monday through Friday. WALK-IN ABSENTEE VOTING ‘EXCUSED’: If a voter anticipates being absent during ‘early’ voting May 16-18, 2024, AND on Election Day, May 21, 2024, they may come into the Scott County Clerk’s Office Elections Department, located on the 3rd floor, of the Scott County Courthouse, 101 E Main Street and cast their ballot. EARLY VOTING: State legislation has allowed for 3 days of ‘early’ voting in the 2024 Primary Election. The Scott County Public Library located at 104 South Bradford Lane will house our ‘Early’ Voting Center. Thursday, May 16th, Friday, May 17th and Saturday, May 18th, the library will serve as a polling place for any eligible voter to cast a ballot in the 2024 Primary Election. The polls will be open during ‘early’ voting from 8:30am – 4:30pm all 3 days. PRIMARY ELECTION DAY (Tuesday, May 21, 2024). ALL Scott County Voters may choose to vote at one (1) of twelve (12) countywide voting locations on Election Day, Tuesday, May 21, 2024, from 6am – 6pm.
