We want your vote to count! Please be aware that in Wisconsin, the Clerk's Office must receive your ballot no later than Election Day in order for it to count. Absentee ballots are counted at the polls on Election Day. Active Military voters and voters who are overseas can download their ballot from https://MyVote.wi.gov, print the ballot, and mail it back to the City Clerk's Office to be counted. Another option is to request that the Clerk's Office send your ballot as an e-mail attachment. You may send your absentee request to voting@cityofmadison.com. Include your name, Madison address where , and the e-mail address to which we should send the ballot. You will need to print out the ballot and mail it back to the Clerk's Office to be counted. If you would like your ballot sent through the U.S. Postal Service, please consider submitting your absentee request as early as possible so we can mail your ballot the same day we receive the ballots from the printer. You can request absentee ballots for up to one calendar year at a time using https://MyVote.wi.gov, sending a request via e-mail to voting@cityofmadison.com, or using the Federal Postcard Application (FPCA).
