Polling places in Central time zone are open from 8am to 8pm on Election Day; Polling places in Mountain time zone are open from 7am to 7pm on Election Day.

Early Voting

Nebraska has designated absentee voting as their early voting option for registered voters. Voters can vote in person at their county clerk offices beginning 30 days before the day of election. Contact your local clerk or county office for precise early voting hours.

Absentee Voting

Any registered voter can request an absentee or "early" ballot and vote by mail. Ballots can be requested up to 120 days prior to Election Day, and no later than 6pm on the second Friday preceding the election. Voters may request their absentee ballots by mail, fax, or by printing an application on-line. Completed forms can be sent by mail, fax, or by attachment to an email.
