General Information


You can register to vote or update your registration information:

  • online
  • in person at your elections office or location with a deputized Registration Clerk (registrar) such as your village Mayor’s office or your public high-school or college campus.
  • when you apply for a driver's license or Guam id
  • when you apply for an absentee ballot
  • at the Election Commission Suite 202 of Oka Building in Tamuning

You'll need to update your registration if you change your name, move to a new village or miss two consecutive elections.

Election Day Voting

Polling places are open from 7am to 8pm on Election Day.

Early Voting

Any qualified voter may cast a ballot early during the Office Absentee Voting Period at the satellite offices of the Guam Elections Commission.

Absentee Voting

You may cast your absentee ballot early in person. If you are homebound because you are ill or disabled, you may vote by Homebound Service. You may return your application by mail, or by email if you scan your printed application. Alternatively, you can designate someone to return your application to the GEC office in Tamuning.
