U.S. Domestic Voters
General Information
Registration
You can register to vote or update your registration information:
- online
- by mail
- in person at your local election office
- at a mobile registration event
- in person at a number of other government offices, including DMV offices, WIC Program offices, State Services offices and Armed Service Recruitment offices.
Election Day Voting
Polling places are open from 7am to 8pm on Election Day.

Early Voting
Early voting in-person is offered for at least ten days before an election. The last day to vote early is the Sunday before the election.
Absentee Voting
Any registered voter can vote absentee by filling out and signing an absentee affidavit based on the following valid reasons:
You are sick, or temporarily or permanently physically disabled
Your business or occupation is providing care to your parent, spouse or child who is living at home and requires constant care.
You are a student.
You are incarcerated.
You are on vacation.
You are in the public service of the US or the State of Delaware.
You are temporarily residing outside of the US and the District of Columbia.
You are absent from the state because of illness or injury received while serving in the armed forces of the U.S.
You are a member of the U. S. Armed Forces, the American Red Cross, the U. S. O. or the U. S. Merchant Marine.
You are a spouse or dependent residing with or accompanying a person temporarily residing outside the territorial limits of the United States and the District of Columbia.
Any voter is permitted to vote by absentee for the reason: "(#3) I am sick, or temporarily or permanently physically disabled" if they are: "...asymptomatic of COVID-19 infection if exercising self-quarantine or social distancing to avoid potential exposure.
An absentee affidavit can be obtained by mail or in person at your county department or online
