Registration
You can register to vote or update your registration information:
- in person at your elections office
You must have resided in your precinct at least 90 days prior to the election in which you intend to vote.
Election Day Voting
Polling places are open from 7am until 7pm on Election Day.

Absentee Voting
A registered voter in the Virgin Islands may request an absentee ballot provided they meet meet any of the following criteria:
- You are a member of the Armed Forces and Spouse or dependent
- You are a student residing outside the Territory
- You are an officer or employee of the Government of the V.I. or Government of the U.S.
- You are unable to appear because of illness or physical disability (permanent or temporary)
- You are a patient in a hospital, nursing home or home for the aged
- You are absent from district because of accompanying a spouse, parent or child who would be entitled to apply for the right to vote by absentee ballot
- You are detained in jail awaiting action by a grand jury or trial , or has been confined in prison after a conviction for an offense other than a felony
- You have not been out of the election district for more than 90 days prior to the date of the election for which absentee status is sought
