General Information


You can register to vote or update your registration information:

  • online (even on Election Day)
  • by mail
  • in person at your elections office
  • on Election Day at your polling location (with Nevada driver's license or ID card)
  • at DMV
  • at public assistance agencies
  • at college campuses

You must have resided in Nevada at least 30 days prior to the election in which you intend to vote, and at least 10 days within the precinct in which you intend to vote.

Election Day Voting

Polling places are open from 7am to 7pm on Election Day.

Early Voting

A voter may vote early at any location in their respective county. Check with your local election office for early voting locations and hours.

Absentee Voting

All active registered voters will now automatically be sent mail-in ballots unless a voter opts out. Ballots may be subject to signature verification. Ballot drop boxes are located at every polling location.
